Question about using typed letters

Unread post by ultimatedingbat »

Heya all
I have a real problem with my handwriting aka it is unreadable because of shaky hands. I was wondering if I could request with typed letters, and just explain to them why im using typed not handwritten. Soem of the personal responses i've had from people have basically said sorry for the delay but we struggled to read your name & letter.

Sure! I have typed letter before and still gotten a response! You could explain that you don't have the best handwriting, so your typing for their benefit. :)

Hope I helped!

Typing won't make a difference as long as you say why you do it

In certain cases like yours, I'd say it's okay to send a typed letter. I used to do draft copies of my letters when I was first collecting and it's funny to look back on those and at how HORRIBLE my penmanship & Punctuation was! :shock: I can't beleive I actually sent some of these out. :lol: But the celeb was still nice enough to reply back. after hundreds of letters I've gotten better at it and now I get even nicer replies.

Best of luck with your collecting! {thumb2}

I type all of my letters. My handwriting isn't the greatest and it allows me to go back and change or add things to the letter after it is written. Before computers I used to handwrite every letter I sent and it just took forever.
