Postage Weights

Unread post by Guest »

I sell preprint autographs on eBay, and whenever I send to USA they weigh 50 grams (Costs £1.45 - about $3.00). This is because I use thick cardboard to protect the photos. If I was to not use cardboard and send from UK to USA, what is the chance of the photo staying straight.

Hi and Welcome.

Why don't you join up to fanmail.biz? It is free!

The chances of the autograph reaching the person from the other side of the world not bent with no cardboard is very unlikely.

I think that you should carry on putting in the paper, becuase you can count that as postage fee on eBay.

Hope this helps,

I agree. If you don't put the cardboard in, then going overseas the picture will likely be bent. However, if you don't put the cardboard in then it should cost about $0.60-$0.80 (US) to mail.
