I would like to send a letter to some of my fave celebs but i have no idea how to write the letter.
any help/suggestions???

You can write anything you want in your letter. {thumb2} Try to write the letter from your heart - tell the person why you admire them, which films/albums, etc. you like, what you're looking forward to. Then, you can write a bit about yourself, tell about your family/friends, hobbies, pets, school/work, etc. Try to keep it interesting and short - it is recommended that the letter should be no longer than one page, otherwise it gets too lengthy and boring.

Dear __,
My name is __. I am __ years old and I live in __. (A little about yourself) I am a big fan of your's. I loved your (movie or song <-- write one of those) __. That was an excellent performance. You are a beautiful (or handsome) singer (or actor). You are amazing at what you do and I hope to see even more from you in the future!

Anyway, I am an autograph collector and I was wondering if I could have your autograph. I sent you ______, and an SASE (if you did) in hopes that'll help. I'm really a big fan of your's and it'd mean a lot having an autograph from you! Could you also sign the autograph with (song lyrics or movie lines, if you want) ___? It's okay if you can't, I'd understand, but it'd be great if you did! Thank you so much!

I hope that helped! That's how I make my letters, not sure about everyone else. It also helps if you send a photo or SASE, but for most celebrities it doesn't effect your changes much.

It's the same as usual, sending a letter, SAE/SASE plus your own picture. You may also mention you'd like him/her to sign on that photo in the letter{thumb2} Hope it'll help =]

I never mention that I'm an autograph collector. I think it diminishes chances of getting an autograph, especially with the wave of Ebay and other online sellers. I don't want the celeb to think that I'll just turn around and sell their signature on Ebay (I never would).

I think that's a very inappropriate thing to say.
You shoul always introduce yourself as a fan of the celeb you are asking his/her autograph to.
If you mention that you are just an autograph collector the star could feel quite used ad will probably refuse to fullfill your request.

That's the order I follow in writing to a star:
:arrow: I introduce myself
:arrow: Talk about my intrests
:arrow: I say that I'm a big fan
:arrow: I talk about his/her last works
:arrow: I make my request
:arrow: I write what I've enclosed to my LOR (SASE, IRCs, SAE...)
:arrow: I say thank you and I write a conclusion like "I wish you all the best", "Good Luck for your upcoming projects", "Best Regads"...
:arrow: I alwas sign my letter, even if typed.

Here is what I do.

Look at recent success to see if they have a photo they could send me- if so what size so I know how big of an SASE.

Write a letter saying a little about me, something we have in common, why i like their work, and if they could send me a photo

Stamp, SIGN, mail, and wait
