I'm about to send out a few of my first VIA Venues.....I was just curious if it was dumb to send to people outside my own country???
Seeing that it's one concert and IRC probably won't do them any good....Thoughts?

It's not dumb. Loads of people do it. But then again it leaves you with less chance of getting a reply if you don't send an SASE. I personally wouldn't vv out of England, but it's your choice completely.

It's not dumb! Like aamir said, lots of people do it!
And you live in the USA, so you have luck, most concerts are there, though many are worldwide

It's not dumb at all. I send a lot of my requests VV.
I'm in the USA and I've sent VV out of the country. What you can do for postage if you can't easily get the country's postage: Trade with people here for stamps. Or you can go to a stamp dealer. I've gone to a local stamp shop and gotten different country's postage for a few cents more than the face value of the stamp. I figured, if the face value of the stamp is say 42 cents, and i pay 45 or 50 cents - it's just like the postage costs for me to send to a person in that country in a stamp trade.
Plus, you can buy only as many stamps as you need with a stamp dealer. You don't have to buy a whole booklet or roll.
Hope that helps.
