How much would weight...

How much would weight a 6x8 envelope and two 5x7 pictures? I'd like to caulculate online the amount of stamps I should put in a SASE :)

I would put .53 cents worth of postage on it. Since the envelope is a little larger than the regular kind. {thumb2}

According to the USPS site sending two ounces in the US to another US address is 0.59 not .53, Ryan. Two ounces sounds right for 2 5X7s.

Also 6X8 should be the price of a normal envelope. If you get bigger than 8X10 you have to use the "large envelope" price

Good luck with your letters! {thumb2}

I doubt they weigh every letter, but if it there isn't enough stamps, it COULD be returned to you or delivered to the person with "postage due".

I check the weight just to be on the safe side in case they DO weigh my letters. :)

Yes, two ounces. If it needs to be more exact, it probably weighs 1.5 ounces.
