Hello!
1) Does anyone know if Birmingham O2 Academy and Cambridge Corn Exchange are good at passing on fanmail?
2) On the envelope do you write 'Please hold for *date of concert*' Where do you write it? Do you have to mention the artist to give the envelope too in that or just in the address?
3) How many days before the concert shall i send off for it to be there in time? I do live in the same country as the venues.
Thanks so much for answering these for me {love}

I don't but if it's not in the venue list anywhere, try sending the venues an email at mail@o2academybirmingham.co.uk and admin.cornex@cambridge.gov.uk

You don't need to write the artist there, no, and it's best to write it at the bottom of the envelope.

I'd suggest you want it to be there 3 days in advance, so if you are sending it 1st class I'd suggest 4 or 5 days before (more if one of those days is a Sunday!).
Who is it you're wanting to send to?
Good luck!

Re: Some via venue help
Thanks for your help. Im sending to n dubz
I'm sending 2nd class so would you say 6 days before the concert? And do i write the date like 9/4/09 or 9th April 2009?
Thanks ;)

Thanks ;)
Re: Some via venue help
6 days sounds fine to me. You can write it either 9/4/09 or 9th April 2009, or even just 9th April cause it'd unlikely they'd think you want them to keep it til 2010 anyway! Good luck!

Re: Some via venue help
I usually put Hold for _____________ concert/at _______ 2009.
Usually I put that on the bottom left of the envelope and also on the back.
I would write the artists name.

And I don't live in the UK, so I can't help you, but you should aim to have your letter arrive a few days before the event.
