If your talking about UK stamps, use 1st class stamps if you want your post to arrived next day. Use 2nd class stamps if you dont mind waiting 3-4 days for the letter to arrive. 1st class stamps are dearer than 2nd class stamps because they arrive the next day.

If you are talking UK stamps, then I find most collectors use 2nd class. Mainly because, If you are going to wait 3 months for a success, an extra 2-3days won't really matter!

I use 2nd stamps because they are cheaper and i really dont mind if it takes a bit longer for a response {thumb2}

Yes I use 2nd class stamps also. They're cheaper so you can get more for your money, and like already said, 3 days isn't going to make much difference when you're probably going to be waiting a few months to get it back. The only time when I may use a 1st class stamp is if I'm sending VV and I've left it a little late to send 2nd class and don't want to risk it not getting there in time.

It's really doesn't matter which class you are going to use. It won't affect your rate of success, unless the request should be sent as soon as possible. Just as the above members said, most people use 2nd class as they are cheaper. You can make more requests with the same amount of money {thumb2} But of course, it's up to you at the end.
