I recently sent letter to England and Australia and didn't remember to write 'airmail' on them. I was just wondering how this will affect how long it will take the letters to get there.

As I told a few other members this week, most mail (if it's overseas) get shipped via airmail anyways - the post office will know that it's going to England or Australia, so it will be by plane. I've also forgotten to write "AIRMAIL" sometimes, but my letter reached its destination and I got my replies.

As zanne said, the post office will surely know you are sending via airmail if you have put enough postage {thumb2} So no need to worry. I sometimes do forget to write it and it's still perfectly fine

I was thinking about it, and the thought that it would take a month to get there crossed my mind, I'm not sure why... But thanks for clearing that up!

Haha. Well, Airmail is kind of the only way. So, like Zanne said, you'll be fine.
