I'm worried about my LOST requests...

On March 10th I sent out autograph requests to twelve members of the LOST cast. I put two 42 cent stamps on each of my SASE's. I have gotten two so far, and I posted them both on here as feedback.

The pictures they send out are printed on cardstock and heavier than I expected. The one from Yunjin Kim had a stamp on it that said "POSTAGE DUE__" and someone had written .16 in the blank, meaning that my stamps covered all but sixteen cents of the postage. The one from Michael Emerson had a post office sticker on it, and he (or I guess maybe the studio) had paid the sixteen cents.

This isn't a time issue, I do know that it can take several months, but I'm just worried that some of my autographs won't get to me because I didn't put on enough return postage. I just put my name as the return address, and I'm kind of worried that the post office will just toss the envelopes because there weren't enough stamps. But if Yunjin Kim's got to me with just a "postage due" stamp, others will get to me, right? I hope that made sense...

I think the post office will do what they did with the one Yunjin Kim, putting postage due on it. Or the celebrity might cover the cost.

The post office shouldn't toss it, they will get it to you but you might have to pay the difference. I received a success without ANY stamps on it several years ago! If there is any letter to toss, that would be one. So don't worry. {thumb2}

I wouldn't be scared if I were you.
The LOST cast usually covers the postage of the fan mail, and I think you'll get back the most of your requests. :)
Also, allow some more time than the average because the tapings of the series are now over.
Take Care! ;-)

By the taping of the series are now over - do you mean that the taping of the current series has finished or that the taping for the entire show has finished?

I think LeMon meant that the taping of the current season (season 5) is over.

Thanks guys! I can breathe easier now!

I basically agree with what everyone else is saying. The post office has just stuck on that postage is due for me before. So, I just take a few cents to the post office ant that's that. I really don't think they'll toss it. You should be fine. (:

Good luck, I love LOST.

hi Lauren81492,

Don't worry. As everyone said, the post office won't toss your letter even you didn't pay enough. Either the sender or you will have to pay the difference back. I've once got a letter stating not enough postage, and it takes a longer time than usual to be back to me. I even got a success which has no stamp/chop on it!! So really no need to worry.
