when sending a letter overseas to a celebrity, how many IRC are required for a basic c5 size envelope?

Hi! Welcome to fanmail! It shouldnt need more than two IRCs but it really depends on weight and where your sending to and back {thumb2}

thanks heaps... im from australia and the weight is usually just a few grams (for two photographs)

hi karla.t,

It doesn't matter where you are from. For c5 size ones with two autographs, normally 1-2 will be enough. I sometimes just send one

But it'd be safer to send 2.

Hi Karla.t,

About 1-2 IRC's would be fine, I recommend sending 2 just to be on the safe side

I have written to Christiano before, just like many other members here on Fanmail, If you do, you will recieve a signed Manchester United photocard of Christiano, If you send your own photo to be signed he generally sign's them too.

hi Karla,

Yes, I've written to him before and succeed

He's very nice and still signs, though not seeing much success this season.
However, I won't suggest you to send your own photo, either it won't be returned or signed by sec now. So it's safer to wait for his own clubcard

This is my first post too, although I have been collecting a while. I used to live in South Africa, so to get a C5 envelope back from the US or UK, I always put 2 IRC's in, and did get quite a few replies from using just 2.
You should possibly send 3 if you are also including a cardboard backing to your envelope which will add weight.
