Sending letters to full bands?

Ok, so like I type in "Megadeth" and the fanmail address for Megadeth pops up. What happens when I send a letter to them? Does every member in the band autograph something for me? I wouldn't think so. (Sorry, I'm new
)

If you do want them all to sign for you, just mention it in the letter. Sometime like this:
Id be very greatful if you could all sign the photo I provided please.

As EastendersFan said, just mention in your letter politely that you want all of their autographs will do. You could always include your own photo to be signed as well

You could ask them kindly if they could all sign the picture that you have inclided (if you have one)
If you dont have a picture ask them if they please could include one.

Hey there, welcome to the board!
Paigey, takying and EastendersFan has already said everything
But just remember that if you do send to them and mention in your letter you want the whole band to sign, they won't always all sign :neutral: One or two of them might be unavailable so don't expect your picture to automatically be signed by the whole band. Of course, if they are all available to sign then I'm sure they will be more than happy to sign for you!

Yes if you write to the whole band then very often the whole band would sign the same picture for you. You would just have to make sure you address it to all of them, and make sure you ask if they could all sign the picture for you.
I have also seen some successes where it has just been signed by a few members because the others must not have been available at the time. But of course if you would only like certain members then only address it to them!
I have a signed picture of Bowling For Soup which each of the members signed. I also wrote to just Chris from BFS but they all signed it! I am also going to try a few other bands VV soon so hopefully I will get those too! {thumb2}

Usually a letter is forwarded to their label or their fan club. Either way they usually have a stock pile of band photo authentics or pre-prints to send out to fans who requests. If you send to their label or fan club you will most likely recieve a band photo with all their signatures on it (may be authentic, may not be).
