Hi all,
I have these stamps, now on the back it says POST BY 18 DECEMBER FOR XMAS 08.
Now are they still ok to be used now? Here are pics:

Hmmm i wouldnt of thought so if it says that. But if you posted a letter with the stamps on, are they likely to check when they must be used by, by the way they look?

Yep, they are fine to use! The info on the back is the last posting dates for the mail to arrive in time for Christmas. UK stamps do not have an expiry date ever.

Its just that the stamps are a Christmas edition, so they give you info of Christmas posting dates. They are fine to use now, they are just the same as normal stamps you would buy now!

I was concerned when I got them, because it was a week before the stamp prices went up. So I was a little worried that because it had a Christmas picture on them then it would be obvious that I hadn't paid the new price for them. I wasn't sure whether I had to try and rush to get them all used in that week. But I was told that it doesn't matter what the picture is or how long ago I bought them, as long as it just says 1st or 2nd on the stamp and not a price then it will always be valid

Lol- I think you might have read it wrong
It means "post on the 18th to get the letter there by christmas". Stamps do not expire.
