But how do you send a SASE.?

An SASE is a Self Stamped Addressed Envelope It is something which you can include in your request to a celebrity Basically it is an envelope with your address on with the stamps of the country which the celebrity is in. So if he/she has an American address for example, you would stick on American stamps :razz:

Let's say your writing to someone in America, you live in England so the things you would include to the celebrity are:

- LOR (Letter of Request)
- SASE (Self Stamped Addressed Envelope
- optional 1-2 Pictures for him/her to sign

These 3 things into the main envelope which has the address of the celebrity on

An SASE makes it easier for the celebrity to send your items back to you

Hi!

As SASE is a self-addresses-stamped envelope, it's basically another envelope (not the one in which you put your letter) on which you write your name and address and then put a correct amount of postage on it. What is the right amount of postage depends on the size and weight of stuff you'd like to get back. If you want to get something back from outside of the UK, you have to use stamps of that country. Then you put your SASE into the bigger envelope together with your letter, photos and everything else you send to the celebrity.

A SSAE is an envelope with your address and a stamp on. You include it in with your letter to send to a celeb {thumb2}

I just use a 9"x12" (sorry for the American measurements) envelope with my address, the correct postage, and "Do not bend" on it. I fold it up and put it inside a regular business-sized envelope along with my letter.
