Hi Everyone!
I'm pretty new to autograph collecting and I don't exactly understand how to obtain an autograph from another country TTM.
If anyone could tell me step by step how to do a TTM request from UK to U.S.A I would be very grateful!

1. obtain some USPS stamps either on their site or EBay - a large letter (9x12) under 100g will need about $5 worth
2. create a SASE with your address and the USPS stamps
3. find the main address of the celebrity on this forum
4. send a LoR, SASE, and some photos to the celebrity from your location
5. wait anywhere from 3 months to 3 years to get a reply (if you get one at all)

Good luck 'cuz succeeding at TTM's is very addicting.

For me - whenever I open the mailbox and see a returned SASE it's like Christmas!

Thank you very much! The TTM autographs I have received already from UK celebrities have cam fairly soon and it definitely feels like Christmas when they do!

I asked my post office about SASE's for back to the US, they told me they do not recognize USPS stamps? Is that not true?

What steps are different for a 4"x9" envelope that is about 1 oz.

If ordering online you cannot get USPS stamps through their website, only through their official eBay shop.

Go to http://www.usps.com & use the price calculator for your SASE
(Look for First Class International price).

UK Post Office will not recognize US stamps if you put them on the incorrect envelope.

The correct procedure is:
UK stamps on envelope to celeb.
USA stamps on the envelope to you.
