"do not bend"

okay...I have been wondering this for a while. I have never wrote "DO NOT BEND" on a sase because I know the mailman cant help but bend mail(we have a small mailbox so you kindof have to bend mail to get it in there.) Well I have been thinking of putting "DO not bend" on the envelope because the mailman has been bending it so bad that it leaves creases in the photo. If I put "Do not bend" like how does that work. Will the mailman come down to my house or what? Thanks in advance.

my mailman always brought the ones marked do not bend to the door. but I put up a big mailbox that will hold about any size, because when you send through e mail, they never write it on the envlope.

If I wrote DO NOT BEND on my envelopes, the postamn will open our door and leave them inside the lobby (We have two doors, a first door that is only locked when we are not in, and a door that is always shut (with a lock)

It's about half and half for me. Sometimes the mailman brings it to the door. Sometimes not.

Try sending a piece of cardboard with your SASE.
I have had some successes where "Do not Bend" was not written on the envelope, but there was a piece of cardboard in the envelope. The mailman bent the envelopes to fit in my mailbox, but the photos weren't creased.

My mailman used to bend my mail no matter how larger or how many times i wrote do not bend on my envelopes! My mother had a talk with him and now theres a new mailman and he's so sweet and leave my mail inside the door!!

LOL i know cutie!! I was at my witts end with him and now theres a new one! It really stinks that mail gets bent even when you clearly state that you do want it to!! Sigh, what can we do, right??

Well I recently moved into a new home, and our mail box system is completely diffrerent now! Our mailboxes are like shelves with doors that lock. I never have to worry about my mail being bent. I love it!

Thats sounds like the perfect mailbox....Your talking about the kind where there are a lot of peoples mailboxes, right? You dont have to worry about someone knocking your mailbox down either. I hate when people knock down mailboxes...grrr..
I decieded I would see what happenes if I write "Do Not Bend" on the last letter I wrote.
