So what would you guys do if you received your best success yet which for me is Richard Petty autographed. I wrote on the envelope do not bend so i find it yesterday when i got home from work folded in my mail box and wet as hell. thank god when i opened it didnt have any water marks but was so soggy i put it in a plastic sleeve and is fine now but what would you do if you got your autograph folded badly and really wet?

I am so sorry about that. :cry: I'm glad the autograph wasn't ruined! I have had plenty of autographs folded, fortunately, they weren't too bad--some though still have a crease in the center.

It is the chance we take with TTM requests. Sure I'd be mad, but I'd be more mad if the post office LOST the mail. :shock:

Aw, Sorry about that :( This has happened to me a couple of times and I know it's really annoying. Fortunately your photo wasn't ruined. I don't really know if you can do anything with this situation. You can report it to the post office, bu I don't think they will care about it.

Sorry :( You might want to put think cardboard in from now on, that way it can't be folded.

So not true. I got a package from Autographworld the other day, anyone that ever bought from them knows they pack it well. autograph in plastic sleeve in between 2 (thick) pieces of cardboard; and it was still bend in half.

It's rare for me when it happens, and I don't think my mailman/lady does it.

I think I've gotten 4 back so far that were bend. Kristen Kreuk and Leah Remini (both send it without any protection), Jared Padalecki (photo mailer envelope) that one made me mad, but it's still an awesome signed picture. And then the aforementioned autographworld package.

Sorry about it being bent and wet {down}
You could report it to the post office and tell them it was an autograph and it said Do Not Bend on the envelope, yet the post man still bent it :neutral:

I recommend using cardboard and a plastic sleeve. This will protect the photo from the elements and postman. I've done this with a few of my most wanted and they came back perfect. {thumb2}

My Mailman knows that i collect autograpahs so he is very careful with putting the autograph inside the mailbox. if my regular mailman is off, than most likely the photo will be bent.

I stopped getting autographs sent to my house years ago. I opened up a PO Box at a local post office and my mail arrives just fine now. It's a little pricey just for autographs but well worth it.

So sorry to hear about that! {down}

I've had a couple bent in half before, even though it clearly said do not bend, can these peple not read? :?

All though having said that, some of them are very careful with the mail, luck of the draw really, our post person is always changing! 8)

Congrats on your success anyway! {up}
