Designing your own photos to send

Unread post by stellar_fuse »

Does anyone do this? I'm not talking about crafting, but using PaintShop Pro, etc.

I like playing around with graphics so I was thinking that maybe I'd put some text on a few photos I'd like to send and see how they turn out. Just wondered what other collectors thought.

I design my own photos some times. {thumb2} I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I've even got emails from celebs saying that they liked the photos so much that they wanted copies for their own personal use! :D

Check out my website and you can see some that I've designed. Most are 4x6. & they'll have the black bars and space for the celeb to sign. :D

I've done this once with Miley Cyrus on Photofiltre, but I deleted it from my computer because I doubt I'd get a response if I sent it. So, I don't have an example but it was fun to make. ;-)

{thumb2} I've just spent some time playing around with PhotoFiltre - it's pretty good. Where did you find it? I'll order my customised photo next week.

I sometimes add borders, or convert color photo's to b/w. Other than that, no. I am way too busy to do that. I wish I had the time though. ;-)

I don't really make graphics or anything, as I'm not very good with that type of stuff. xD
I do make the pictures "glow" with paint.net. It makes the pictures look much better! =D

Photoshop's way beyond my finances, but I also like to do this. It can make a lot of difference.
