Right so I was sending a request to David Attenborough and I put a large letter stamp on the envelope and SASE but when I got to the Post Office they classed it as a Package so I paid the excess amount but I only just realised about my SASE which still only has a large letter stamp so will this be OK? I'll be fine if they put it through a postbox but if it's the post office then they'll have to pay...and will they? Anyone had any experience of this?

I think it should be okay. Your package will be lighter coming back as it will not be containing the SASE and letter you sent. only the photo. {thumb2}

If your SASE and signed item does go over the weight allowed for large stamps, you should receive a note in the post saying that they are unable to deliver an item until you pay the rest of the postsge fee. They also add a £1 surcharge to this in Britain.

So you should be fine, you may just have to pay a little extra later.
Good luck! {thumb2}

It's actually under 100g, it's just because there's book covers in it that pop the envelope up so they classed it as a Package.
