Hiya I have never sent a letter to another country before and I want to write a letter to Britney Spears Via Venue of her circus tour on th 26th July in the o2 World, Berlin.

I'm going to send her a a4 letter, a folded a4 poster .

I am sending an a4 letter and a4 poster, both folded so How many Uk Stamps do I have to send To Britney so she doesnt have to pay the postage?

Should I simply put the letter in the letterbox like you would with mail in your own country and just write ''By Airmail'' and ''Hold on until the 26th July'' on the envelope?

Do I need to put the self addressed envelope and the Uk stamps in the envelope as well as the letter and pictures?

and Do I need to write ''By Airmail'' on my self addressed envelope?

I'm going to try and answer your question. If you send to Britney in Germany, she cannot use UK stamps to send back to you from Germany. You may want to look into buying some German stamps or purchasing an IRC. You can see if anyone is selling German stamps at http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=127

You want to write "By Airmail" on your SASE and also you may want to write "Do Not Bend" or "Photos" as well.

You will want to include your SAE, Postage, photos and your LOR in the envelope you send to Britney. What I normally do when I send to people is I paper clip my lor and photos to my SASE and put it in the envelope I'm sending to the celebrity.
