hi guys,
i'm new to the forum. i was thinking of writing to olivia wilde at:

olivia wilde
c/o kass and stokes management company
9229 sunset blvd.
suite 504
los angeles, ca 90069
usa

i'm writing from new zealand, and would anyone know what i would have to include in my envelope? i have my own 8x10 that i'll be sending and i understand that i have to include some irc's and a sae, but i'm a little confused with them. does anyone know whether or not irc's are sold in new zealand and what do i have to put on my sae (or sase)?
any help with these would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to include your own photo and SASE (do not include IRC's). She will only reply if you do these things. You will need to get US stamps. She is in my next batch to go out. I have her letter ready to go!

i've got 2 or 3 photos i'd like signed but i think that might be pushing it. how many photos do you recommend sending? and why would i not include irc's? has anyone received anything from her recently?

Because some celebrities won't sign anything unless you include an Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, which includes IRCs, so they were just trying to be helpful in saying Olivia won't sign anything unless you include an SASE. I think two photos would be okay, 3 is doable, I try not sending more than 2, but 3 is okay I think if you really like the photos.

i'm so new to this, you can probably tell. i can't even send a letter in my own country, let alone fan mail internationally. so if i get a sase, i don't need to buy irc's?

Correct. SASE means "Self Addressed Stamped Envelope". An IRC is purchased and sent with an SAE ("Self Addressed Envelope") and the celebrity exchanges them for stamps. So you either put US stamps on it, or send an IRC. Some wont reply using IRC as they have to go exchange them, which can be tiresome, so some require sending an SASE. I'm not sure whether or not Olivia Wilde is one of them (I don't actually know who she is!)

Some members sell stamps in the Autographs for Sale/Exchange section of the forum, or I believe you can buy them over the phone with the USPS.

Any is fine, as long as it's large enough for the picture & you have enough stamps to cover it. People often fold their SASE so it fits in your main envelope :)
