For a letter to get to USA to UK it would take about 3 to 4 days.

Just put your IRC's in with your LOR and then the celeb will exchange them for stamps :D

A LOR is a Letter Of Request :D
Take it to the post office and they will give you the right ammount of stamps and give you an Air Mail sticker to put on it ;-)

It will require much more than one first class stamp.

A letter under 10g will cost 62p, under 20g and it will be 90p. You can get it weighed at the post office and they will charge you the correct amount.

As for IRCs, 2 should do it. Put 2 in your envelope, along with your letter and return envelope. The recipient will then exchange them for US stamps.
