Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question but I really dont know.

I of course know that Northen Ireland is part of the UK, but do you need more stamps on your letter when sending to NI, as it is overseas?

Thanks :)

a first class stamp will be enough for any letter to anywhere in the united kingdom except for the channel islands (jersey, guernsey etc)

That would be because the Channel Islands are not part of the UK :) Kind of like how Canada and Australia belong to The Crown, but arent part of the UK.
