hya just wandering if i stick two large stamos on my envolope each worth 100grams will it then be valid for 220grams thanks a lot

Hiya Shinda,

Not quite sure which stamps you meant, but if you know that they are only valid for up to 100g and your envelope is 220g then just two won't be valid. If you don't want to use three and waste 80g worth of stamp, you could go to your post office and buy stamps of the correct value that you need. (In this case, one enough to cover 20g.) :razz:

Obviously two won't be enough. You will need to apply an extra 20p in addition to the two 100p stamps. Like Phoebe already said, you might have to put three 100p stamps on the envelope if that's all you have. Some celebrities might add on extra postage if needed, but others wont.

You may need to elaborate on which stamps you are using as stamps arent "worth" a weight value, only a monetary value (which is then used to pay for a certain weight) if you understand my meaning. More details would help us to help you
