Shipping Help
I use 8 x 10 envelopes and put another SASE inside of it. This is costing me quite a bit of money, so is there any other way you guys send your envelopes that comes out cheaper? I have heard of people sending them money so they can just buy postage but I'm not sure what idea works best and cheapest.
Re: Shipping Help
Hello,
There is no difference between sending money or SASE. It costs the same, but a SASE is always a better way to receive a reply. You can try to send out smaller envelopes with less stuff to sign, so the weight will be smaller, and you'll pay less.

Hi miamoo0!
Like Jagoda said, there really is no difference. Regardless if you send them cash or an SASE, it's going to cost you the same. However, with an SASE you'll probably have a better chance of getting something back and it's safer then sending cash.

Re: Shipping Help
I fold my 9X12 SASES into a 6X9 envelope addressed to the celebrity so it doesn't have the extra postage charge. I am in the US. According to my scales a 9X12 SASE, notebook paper letter in the 6X9 envelope weighs exactly one ounce which is the 0.44 stamp.
Hope this helps. {thumb2}

Re: Shipping Help
Similar to what BossC does, I just fold my 9x12 SASE three times and stuff it into a regular letter-sized envelope. You only need to use one stamp.
