Hey everyone...I live in the US and want to send something to the UK. I want to send a SASE to get back from the UK but I don't know what kind of funds or stamps or whatnot to send with the envelope i want sent back to me.

When i tried to get help from my post office, the woman who worked there had no clue.

Should i send American money to cover costs? Convert money and send? i have no clue...why does his seem so difficult??

Can someone pleaseeeee help me??

Hi IzzyFranchise!

Did you try and purchase IRC's at your post office? These are probably the best alternative. You may want to check the Autographs For Sale/Exhange forum (http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=127) and see if anyone has UK stamps they can sell you.

Also, some post offices may tell you that U.S. stamps will work fine when put on an SASE going overseas. This is not true.

As Annie said, IRCs would be a good option, but if you can get a hold of UK stamps that would be even better. You can post in the wanted forum and maybe a member would trade you UK stamps for US stamps

I use IRCs, but if you can buy UK stamps, it's better and cheaper.
