I folded a 9 x 12 envelope into a regular sized envelope. I put a stamp on the regular envelope and addressed and put one stamp on the envelope inside the regular sized one. I am just sending them throughout the USA but should I have put two stamps on the envelope inside? They are forever stamps.

You should put three.

In the Us to another address in the US for a 9X12 is a mimimum of 0.88, which is 2 forever stamps. If you want to be on the safe side, add three, but I only use two. {thumb2}

Alright I will start putting two but do you think that the celebs will return them anyways? Eeek I sent out about 12. I hope they do.

It'd depend on the celeb.. you can only hope.

I still believe three stamps to be the better choice, as all of the autographs I've received that I did not send an SASE for came back using $1.05 postage. BossC, you mentioned that an SASE+photo would amount between 1-2 ounces when you answered one of my earlier threads - that would put it over $0.88.

I always only use 2 and have never had a problem.

Well I have heard successes where they actually pay for there own postage so hopefully they can put an extra stamp on there.

I wouldn't worry too much about it--the post office delivered one of my envelopes to me that was about .25 short in stamps. I have also had the celebrity pay the difference.
