IRC help

Hello.
I just want to ask something about IRC - first I don't know where to buy it (I'm from Slovakia,- isn't here), maybe at the Post-Office, no?
Second, if IRC is just a paper like this, I have to place here US stamp or what? Or I just have to place here 2-3 IRC papers and that's all...?

I know what you think... But I'm sending a letter like this first time... Thank you.

P.S.: (Sorry for my bad english)

Hey Homer!
Welcome here :mrgreen:
You can buy IRCs at the local post office. If you have IRC, you do not need any extra stamps-the celebrity can exchange IRC for a stamp ;)
Hope it helps :D
Good luck! {thumb2}

Thank you :) But I afraid that when I ask a officer for a IRC, he won't know what it means ;) :D And how many IRC's I will need, don't you know please?

Ask for International Reply Coupons rather than IRCs to avoid confusion! :razz: You will need 1 IRC for ever 20g of weight. So you'll probably need 2 or 3 I would say.

Good luck! {thumb2}

Hmm, thanks all, I really appreciate that, but I have a BIG problem.
When I get to Post-Officer, I tried to ask officer for IRC -
"Excuse me, good day, I want a International Reply Coupon, it's that you can send to someone in another country and he could change it for a stamp from his country, ...".
"Try to ask in next window."
I moved to next window...
"Hello, do you have a...".
"No, next please".

Horror... Slovakia is in European Union, and we don't have IRC...? I don't think that, I just think that they're too lazy :)
Anybody knows another way? :) Do I need to send IRC? What about sending U.S. stamps? Or I have to ask in another Post-Office...?

Of course you can send USA stamps too :) But it's not possible to buy them through the internet unless one of the users sells them to you :) There are many who are willing to trade or sell some. Also, you can go to the bank and order some US dollars-3 or 4$ should be enough.

You have shops that sell international stamps?

Yes, it's philatelic shop with used or unused international / Slovak / Czechoslovak stamps. :) I'm not sure that they'll have unused American stamps which are valid, but maybe yes. If no, I'll change money in bank as ursha said :/ :)
