Do I need to put a photo in my envolope or are they pre-printed.

I ALWAYS send at least 4 photos with my requests. Some celebs will send their own but I prefer to send some just in case. If you wan the celeb to send you a photo be sure and include a 9x12 SASE so they can send you one. {thumb2}

@lozz.09 It's a good idea to include a picture with your request, especially if you are planning to send via venue (like a movie set), because the celebrity might not have any photo's available to send to you. Or if you can't find a photo to send, you can include an index card, so at least they will have something to sign and return to you.

What if you can't find a photo of the celeb you want to write to ( 'cause he's not very known) can yoou send a request without a photo??
And do you still send the cardboard in your sae

It is not essential that you send a photo, but I prefer to just in case. I never send more than 2 photo's as I don't want to seem rude or to put the celebrity off. If you can't find a picture of a celebrity you can make a request for one in one of the HQ Picture Shops on the Graphics Shop board here: viewforum.php?f=145
Or you can also just send an index card which a lot of people like to do. I only send index cards as a last resort as I much prefer signed pictures, but I still think an index card is better than nothing.
It's up to you if you want to put some cardboard in, I never do but very often the celebrity will put some in for me themselves.

Thanks Hayley, I'm allready busy writting the letter, but wasn't sure if I would send it in without the photo. I do have one question, since I'm still a newbie at all this, I would like to know what do you meen with an index card??

No problem
You may know them better as record cards or study/flash cards. They are basically just a 5"x3" piece of card. You can pick up packs of 100 for very cheap. Some people prefer to send these for different reasons, but I only send these when I have run out of printer ink so can't print out any pictures. It's totally up to you what you choose to send though

Good idea ryan, but it's also a good idea just is case something happens to one of them. than you still have 3 more.
