Hi!
I was curious on the best way to address the actor at the start of the letter.
Is it best to do it as: Dear Mr./Mrs [Last Name], or Dear [Full Name], or Dear [First Name], etc.?
Thanks! :)

I've always used Mr./Mrs. for adults, and first name for younger celebrities.

I use "Dear Mr./Ms. [last name]".

For me, I usually put "Dear/Hey [first name]" for most people, and "Dear/Hey [Mr./Mrs./Sir.]" for the more respected people.

Hey!
Thanks for the responses! :)
I was thinking of going with Dear Mr/Mrs, because it sounds respectful, but I just didn't want it to seem to formal!
Thanks again!

It depends on your personal preference really. Many people prefer to use "Dear Mr./Ms." (NEVER use "Mrs." unless you know they are married and do not use a stage name) for older people and "Dear name" for younger ones. Others (like myself) use "Dear name" for all. In my opinion I believe you can be polite without being overly formal. If the person is knighted or has recieved a damehood, you should use "Sir/Dame name" NEVER "Sir/Dame surname".
