Cheap Trick VV question - Please help?

Ok, so I decided to go ahead and mail an Record Album (Remember those, kids?) to Cheap Trick at the Las Vegas Hilton to have them *hopefully* sign it - They played there until the 23rd of Sept and I mailed it PRIORITY - Before I sent it, I called the facility and asked about doing this - I never sent VV before so I just wanted to ask a few questions.

They told me they get stuff sent to performers alot and to mail it to the attn of the "Showroom Manager", with the ladie's name next to it.

So, I went ahead and did that, as well as putting at the bottom of the address _PLEASE FORWARD TO CHEAP TRICK_ ... Inside (in case anyone was confused) I put a post it note again saying PLEASE FORWARD TO CHEAP TRICK, along with the album, LOR and SASE. - I called that showroom manager and asked her if she got it ... No answer so I left a VM ... She never returned my call ... called again... Again, No return call. I was going to hope she didn't call due to it being BUSY at a HUGE hotel in Vegas.

Now, here is what I am wondering:

1. Do you think the band got it?
2. Do u think they would have signed it and mailed it back before their schedule was up?
3. Could they have gotten it, collected it, and then maybe sign/send it later on?
4. Should I just be patient or give up hope? (lol)

I am a lousy waiter and I get frustrated easily, but I know this has only been 10 days since I sent it ... For any/all of you who have sent VV and had success or not, please reply to this thread - I await and appreciate all of your comments. - Thank You.

That is what happened to me when I sent out my Taylor Swift autograph.I know they had to have gotten it ( It's been over a month) and sent it way in advance. So I have kinda given up hope but with Via venue it's a gamble. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.Sometimes the venue simply didn't give the artist the envelope or it could of gotten lost at the venue.It's hard to say.I have heard sometimes via venue can take up to year to recieve anything.I don't know that is possible but I guess.......Just keep waiting.Hopefully you will hear something! {thumb2}

A lot of the time the bands will reply fast and right away, however, Cheap Trick and Def Leppard are still on tour and they've been busy, so its possible that they could just hold onto them an send them back later.

pictures are good but i beleive you have a better chance at a signed cd or somthing you have bought from that artist as that shows that you are a fan, still there is that risk of never seeing it again.

Please don't post multiple copies of the same question in different sections of the board. One will suffice.

That is what I am hoping for ... lol- I know they have a break now until 10-22-09 when they kick it back off in Reno, so maybe once they chill and get relaxed, maybe they will send back. Thanks for the positive feedback:-) {up}

In terms of me sending the record, it's no biggie - I bought it off ebay real cheap, so I figured at the time, if I do NOT get it back, I didn't lose aton of dough... BUT if I DO get it back, I am one happy camper ... Ha!~ Plus I saw someone else on here somewhere that sent an LP as well, and he got it back all signed and personalized - Keep yer fingers crossed for me guys and gals - ill update here when I get any reply. ;-)
