Hello. I'm pretty new here and i was wondering could you help me with those IRC .I sent a letter from Serbia to U.K. with only one IRC. Is it going to be enough to cover the letter? I am expecting images 8x10 sizes.
Thanks for your help.

Hi NiNaTheDreamer!
Your post office should have told you, unless you just asked to purchase one IRC. I don't think one will be enough. You probably needed to send at least two. Next time, I would ask the post office how many IRC's should you send so that person can reply to you. I've even gone as far as to physically show the post office employee my SASE and they were able to weigh it and give me a more accurate estimate that way. When I sent to Germany (I'm in the US) I purchased three IRC's just to be safe even though the post office said I'd only probably need two. It's better to send too much postage then not enough.
Hopefully, the celeb you sent to will cover the postage difference. (if there is one) Who did you send to? Maybe someone on here will be able to tell you if you have a good chance of getting something back regardless of the IRC issue.
Hope that helps atleast some,
~Annie

If you are expecting 8x10 photos back, you will need 2 IRC's (3 to be safe).
This is because 1 IRC will cover postage on a standard letter. As 8x10 photos are sent in the larger envelopes it will cost at least double the postage of a standard letter.
Hope that helps!

Thank you very much.
I sent to Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe but what if they don't want to pay the postage?
Will they send a letter anyway and should my postman post a 'payment' card and i would go to post office to pay rest?
Thanks for help!

And one more question.....these IRCs expire at the end of 2009. For Robert Pattinson's autograph you have to wait 5 months.
Will they accept the old one IRC? (I mean in post office).
Thanks again!
