OK, I tried sending something to the Vegas Hilton for Cheap Trick when they were there doing Sgt Pepper's - IN September - Took a chance, didnt get anything back ..... yet.
Now, they are going back on tour with Def Leppard on October 22, and I want to do something - I am on the west coast and their first 3 shows are Nev, Wash and Idaho --- Should I attempt (considering my possible failure) to send to all 3 of those places with the same pic with maybe a letter of explanation??? Should I send to one?? Is all three a good idea? What should I say in the letter??? - Etc
Any of you who have been successful with this would be a real help to me .. I guess I just figured if I did all 3, maybe that way I have better odds. - All feedback welcomed and appreciated.

Of course, the more places you send out the greater the chance of receiving a reply. However, the risk is that if you send to all the places there's a chance that they may realise that you've written to them multiple times and may ignore your request or return items unsigned.
There's every opportunity that they haven't had a chance to get around to their fan mail yet as they are touring. Depending on who you write to, they may get to their mail as they go along, or go through it all at once at the end. This may be the case, so fingers crossed.
In any case, I would probably not suggest you write to all three venues. If you do decide to write, perhaps write to one or two venues at most. In your letter, I would probably mention that you had written to them before but hadn't received a response (and is not sure whether the letter had gotten through to them or had been lost in the post). Make sure your letter in sincere to show them that you are a fan and not sounding like you're simply hounding them for an autograph.

Thanks nowandagain!~ I appreciate the reply - Maybe what I will do is just send to the one place, wait a bit and if no reply, try again somewhere else - The letter I wrote b4 was a good one and a real heartfelt reply ... So, Ill take yer advice ... BUT I would also like to hear what anyone else has to say {thumb2}

No problems!
I've had replies take a few months to come back. This includes ones that have come back from overseas when I have written to them when they were in Australia.
So, anything can happen. Good luck with your next request.

I am just getting frustrated because I would hope that it would have been sent back by now *sigh* -- This hobby can take a lot out of ya, that's for sure

I would only send to one venue. I would assume there will be other venues in the future, so there should be other opportunities to send in about a year or so. I would not make any reference to making an attempt in the past, but would write to them as if it was the first time I ever wrote to them.
I know it can get frustrating sometimes, but I have learned to detach a bit. I never expect 100% success, and when I mail something out I understand there's always a chance that I'll never see my item again. I've had to learn not to take things too personal.
