VV addresses - several questions

Hi!

I'm wondering what's a better option when I write a letter to a VV address (now I'm thinking of Broadway theatres) is better address the envelope to a stage manager of straight to an actor??

and the second thing: What size the Broadway theatres playbills are? Are the all the same size? I don't know what size of SAE use.

And the third thing; Whan I write a letter requesting a playbill, let's just say to a stage manager - what should I write in this letter? A short note that says: If it were possible could you please send me a playbill signed by the cast of ".." will be ok ?? or maybe something else?
:roll: I've never written a letter requesting a playbill - that's why I'm asking {thumb2}

Please help! :)

Hello,

If you are wanting a signed playbill then you should write to the stage manager, if you want the actors to sign specific pictures then write to them individually.

The smallest SASE you can include to get a playbill is a C5 (6x9). I have only ever sent one playbill request but I wrote it like a normal fan letter, but I wrote it about the celebrity rather than addressing it to the celebrity if you know what I mean. I still included all the films etc. that I liked them in and talked about how I became a fan so it was clear that I was a true fan.

This thread should tell you everything you need to know: http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=86510 {up}
