How do you know if a celebrity is being represented by a company?
Some celebrities have an (agency) address on fanmail.biz, but without a result.

That's what I do. Most of the addresses on here have phone numbers.

I had asked a simular question sometime last week. The lack of information here, as far as results being posted is concerned, was what led me to sign up for IMDb pro. While it's not exactly cheap, it's not really that expensive either. I've noticed that some of the addresses listed there are different from the ones listed here. I also joined Movie Eye (prior to signing up for IMDb Pro) but that site looks pathetic.
Don't get me wrong. I really like this site. The one problem is that certain celebrities seem to go in and out of "fashion" as far as people seeking autographs are concerned. I've seen this on other sites. So when I want to seek an address of, say, Masi Oka, and no one else is seeking it, I have to look for other sources to see if it is up to date and to find contact information. Not everyone can afford to make long distance calls. I feel awkward e-mailing the agent, so I'll just have to take my chances. Besides, while I always want to avoid an RTS, I ain't scared of 'em either.

I know what you mean packrat, but I don't really follow celebs "fashion". I have a few favorite celebs, and they have been my favorites for a long time now. But you are right, when some1 is out of "fashion" or "not that famous", it can be really hard to find the info you looking for. ( I know from personal experiance )
And I live in the Netherlands, so I can't really call an agency to ask about the celeb. I have tried e-mail an agency, but I haven't had a reply. ( I have send the e-mail in July )
And Tanda, sometimes you can find the agency that represends your fave celeb, on that celebs website.
