Hello, I'm hoping to get an autograph from Charles Manson. I know the address to write to, but, I wanted to know if anyone knew of any restrictions on what I can send him? I want to send a photograph of Manson for him to sign, but, I'm not sure if the prison that he's incarcerated in would allow me. What do you think? Should I just ask him to sign an index card or something, to be on the safe side? I just want to make sure that he receives it, and that the prison doesn't confiscate it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I saw a show about charles manson on tv a few years ago and how people send him fanmail and ask for his autograph and how he thinks its funny to let other inmates sign the stuff for him so the prison will open and read your mail before he gets it and he will then maybe get it but no guarantee your autograph will be genuine and signed by him.

Because I don't regard him as a killer. I regard him as a wonderful musician, which he is. Don't focus on the negatives of people so much!! :)

Now I've heard everything!!! Try not to lose that tenuous grip of reality...you are hanging on by your fingernails.

Hahahaha good lord. I agree with the sentement... but in this case, the negatives really do outweight any musical talent he might have

I don't want to get too off topic, but, I highly recommend Charles Manson's music. If you don't own his album "LIE: THE LOVE AND TERROR CULT", you should listen to it. It's great.

I wouldnt send a photo. I would just send an index card at first. I have actually written to Richard Ramirez. We would exchange letters for awhile. Some prisons wont let photos in with the mail. So I would play it safe at first and maybe ask if its ok if you send a photo.

Thanks...will do. Should I bother sending an SASE, or should I just mail him an index card, postage stamps, and nothing else? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
