Hello! I was just wondering if anyone could tell me this:
A. How the UK postage system works, what with these "first class stamps" etc
B. How much it would cost in stamps to send an 8*10 SASE to Australia from UK or USA, containing two photos
Thank you!!

In the US it depends on the size and also on the weight. I am guessing 2 photos will weigh 2 ounces but if there is cardboard or anything it could be more.
A 8X10 SASE that is 2 ounces is 2.08 in stamps.
three ounces is 2.92
I don't know much about the UK system, so hopefully someone else can help with that.
I hope this helps. Good luck with your requests.

Hi Jaffer,
1st class stamps in the UK are currently worth 39p here; and 2nd class stamps are 30p. 1st class basically means that it is enough to send a regular size/weight envelope within the UK and 2nd class is the same but it takes a little longer. These stamps can be used for international postgae too, only you will need more of them.

Heres a list of the UK stamps you can buy: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... tId=600025
1st class: Worth 39p and usually gets to the destination your sending to quicker.
2nd class: Worth 30p and takes about 1 day longer to arrive at your destination than 1st class.
Hope I have helped
