Hi
I was wondering, when you send a letter and photo requesting an autograph is it okay to ask for it to be personalized or should you just wait and see if the celeb decides to personalize?
Thanks

I believe your success rate is better if you ask them to personalize your item...they will know it is for your personal collection and is less likely to show up in an eBay auction.

I think it's best not to ask for personalization, not that i don't want it i just feel it's up to them if they want to or not, most personalize anyways but it is their choice.I prefer personalized photos but i leave it up to them.

I ALWAYS ask for personalizations on my photos and cards. It shows them that I'm a true fan and not someone just writing to get autographs to re-sell later on.

I've got over 300 items with my name written on it!

I don't specifically ask for a personalization; I simply say something along the lines of "feel free to personalize if you wish." It doesn't matter to me if they personalize or not. I'm fine with it either way.
