Just put your photo in the main envelope. That's how I do it, and it should be fine.

I ALWAYS leave the SASE empty. I put my letter, photo and SASE in the envelope to the celebrity. That way they can't miss it.

If you worry about damaging your photo, add some cardboard in the envelope addressed TO the celebrity.

I always use a photo mailer for my SASE, and that provides protection when I mail the photo out. A photo mailer will cost more for both sending and return postage but for me it is worth it. It's saved my photos from damage a few times.

I use two 9x12 envelopes, one folded in half, placed in other, and used as SASE. After sticking the folded SASE in the "main" envelope, I follow up by sticking my 8x10 and LOR beside the SASE, inside the "main" envelope. Lick it, stick it, send it on out!

If you follow this technique and also include a piece of cardboard, normally whomever you've written to will put the cardboard back into your SASE when they return the photo.

Good luck!
