How to send an 11x14 poster ?

Unread post by t-cards »

Hi! I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. But I bought a 11x14 post print that I want to send to a venue How can I get it back without wrinkling it? I was thinking about sending it in a tube but I do not know if the post office sells tubes that would lay flat in the envelope? I was thinking about sending it in an 11x14 envelope with a folded 11x14 SASE iside but then It would not have any cardbourd in the SASE. Thanks again.

You can send it in a tube or like you said, send it in a 11x14 envelope. All you have to do it cut a peice of cardboard big enough to slip in the envelope and slide the SASE between the cardboard and the photo. {up} And just request in your letter that the cardboard be put back in the SASE when they return it to prevent damage.

I would go the tube route.. much can happen to an envelope that size, even if it's reinforced. Use just one tube as the "SASE", and wrap it with paper to create a makeshift mailer. That way, you won't have to buy a second tube or pay for the additional postage had you used two tubes.

Thank you. I really like the tub idea. I think I will go with that. I was thinking about it in the first place but I was not sure if it would look weird or how it would work out:) Thanks again for your help:)
