hi,
i really need some help, how many forever stamps do i need to put on a sase for requesting a playbill as i live in sweden?

all help appreciated

I live in the USA and only use 1 forever stamp on my 6x9 SASE's for a playbill. You'll probably need to add 2-4 since you live in sweden.

Most playbills weigh between 1.25 and 2 ounces (I had one that was over 2 during the holidays). I checked USPS.com and for a 1.5oz letter in a 6x9 envelope it will be $1.82. Right now a Forever stamp is 44c so you would need 5 out them to cover 4 would be $1.76 if you want to chance it. Just check the web site above.

how will 44 cent stamp cover a playbill? jus askin.

Does the weight include a piece of cardboard, and if you are sending out a picture 8 X 10 or 11 X 17, how many forever stamps would you probably need?

No cardboard, just a playbill in the smallest envelope possible. It you go to USPS.com, calculate postage, international. Just choice your country, size and weight. It's easy and most countries have it on their Post sites.

What is a playbill, and why no cardboard. I live on the east coast, and if I send mail to the west coast with a picture, cardboard, and a letter, how many forever stamps would I need, and how many to be completely sure?

a playbill is a MINI "tour book" kinda book from a play or musical...

if you only put a SASE and a letter and a photo..TO BE SAFE i would put 4 stamps... ;)

Because I guess it's light enough? :neutral: If you look at my playbill successes you'll see that there's only one .44 stamp on it. I've never had problems with being charged for extra postage.

Because a playbill is light, it should only cost you 0.98 in stamps--so that means your SASE needs 3 forever stamps.

I am assuming east coast and west coast of the US. It all depends on how much it weighs and how big it is. If it is a 9X12, you would need at least 1.05 in stamps. I had a success with a 8X10 photo and cardboard that cost 1.22 to ship.
