Where to buy envlopes to fit an A4 envelope?

I use A4 hardbacked envelopes for my SASE's but the problem is in the UK, I have trouble finding normal white or brown enevlopes that will be big enough for my hardbacked one to fit in. The ones I did find that were big enough were HUGE and it was kinda embarassing to use them.
So I'm just wondering what other people in the UK do if you're sending an A4 envelope as your SASE?

I just use a regular envelpe and fold the SASE to put inside. I then insert a backing board that will fit. You may find that helpful (or maybe you have a better idea).

i was also worrying about this, i never even thought to fold the envelope. I bought some a4 envelopes and wanted an enveloped a tiny bit smaller to fit in this but the next size was a5 which was too small.
Thanks.

Hi!
I was having the same problem. Today I found some smaller ones but they're too small for 8x10 photos...Anyway. Do it like Dana said, just fold it. I think that's the only way to do it. I know that in Italy they're selling some 19cm x 26 cm but unfortunately that's too small for photos of size 20x30cm and those that are 20x25cm. I haven't seen any bigger ones that A4 in Italy, Slovenia or UK so I guess folding them is the only way of solving this problem ;)

Glad I could help. Please be sure to enclose a backing board to protect your photo. I have a friend who buys them for me a hundred at a time at a local comic shop. The comic backing boards are a little too big but I cut them to size. The extra weight of the board & the folded envelope increases my cost a little but I believe that it is worth the effort / expense.
I use that method both when mailing in the states or when I mail internationally.
