Next time you need foreign stamps try your local Stamp Dealer, they usually have foreign stamps for sale.

I notice it is said here the paper money is harder to spot when sent through the mail system. A while ago I was discussing this with a postman (no idea why), anyway he mentioned that he can easily tell the donomination of the note in the envelope. I'm not sure whether to find that cool & impressive or a little unnerving.

In an envelope including a letter, photo & perhaps card backing? How can he even tell there's a note THERE?

I've no idea how he can do it but he can. It is quite shocking. Sadly he is no longer my postie so I can't even ask him how he does it. All I know is he had been in the job a long time.
