Question about sending US to France

I want to send a letter to France, but I'm not sure what to do about the SASE. The post office near me does not have IRC's so I need to figure out an alternative. Can anyone suggest something to me? Thank you.

I've seen people on this site who are looking to trade French stamps for US stamps. Check the "Autographs For Sale/Exchance" forum. You might be able to find a deal there. You can't list an offer in that forum since they require a minimum of three months as a member of the site and 100 posts though. But if someone makes an offer that fits what you're looking for you can respond.

Another suggestion (and one that I've used numerous times) is to find a stamp/coin dealer near you. Go to them and get some French stamps that you can use on your SASE. You'll pay a few pennies over the face value of the stamp but it all evens out in the end, and it's a ton cheaper than IRCs.

I have bought foreign postage through Ebay. The real postage works better than IRC's.
