At one point in my life I was a very dedicated Carrie Underwood fan. I would vote for her a few hundred times a night to make sure she kept her place on America Idol. I was so happy when she won because I knew that she was going to go far. It's fans like me that put her where she is today,............... so why is she so ungreatful? It's almost like she dosent care truely about her dedicated fans. I wrote her a personal card saying how much of a fan of hers I was and all I got in return was a letter saying that she dosent sign anymore. I was deeply upset that I can spend hours calling a number to vote for her, and go out and spend my paychecks on items of hers and she can't even put a pen to paper for a fan like me? What do I do when these things happen? Its sad!!!

I'm sorry to hear this but I don't think that its shes ungreatful for her fans. Perhaps its a management issue or even simply she doesn't have time, shes a very popular artist, and usually the more known a artist is, the less time they have. Maybe when she dies down you should try again, or have you ever tried VV with her?

She has been doing that for a year now. She doesn't sign via venue and I think it's simply because she doesn't have the time. It can be time consuming when you have interviews, meet and greets,etc. Kelly used to be the same way but as you can see she now signs via venue so things can change.

Kelly also signs ttm. I normally do not think celebs "owe" fans an auto (they should sign, but technically do not owe), but in the case of American Idol (or any other show of the sort) then in fact they do "owe" fans. Because quite literally, us fans, along with a group of judges, plucked her from a farmer to a music superstar.

To the OP, put simply, she seems to have stopped signing ttm or vv.

she doesnt sign vv!!! i sent to her concert that on April 28th . well its a try.

how does britney spears have time during touring to sign VV and carrie underwood doesnt.... britney does interivews and films music videos while on tour...its just signing one photo for people who send to her....i think she judt deosnt want to....

also i wanted to say that i feel that celebs could "owe" us a signed photo...we buy their cd's and their concert tickets and their books and other stuff..and we take our time to write them..i feel that they shouod respond back..now if they are the president thats totally different but celebs...i feel they owe us because we support them...just my opinion

Carrie underwood has about 1 million fans on Facebook. Selena Gomez has about 4 million, yet she still finds the time to sign. Plus, she has lots of things filming right now, and is working on her second album. Carrie Underwood really doesn't act. Just saying, if Selena can find the time, shouldn't Carrie be able to?

to the people saying they owe it to us because we buy their cd's, vote for them, etc... do you support them simply for an auto for you or do you show all that support for the entertainment (in this case music) that they provide for you? 9.9/10 times its for the entertainment 1st... the autograph is a BONUS.

that's the way i've always looked at it. for me, i like a lot of athletes, celebritites, music artists, etc who aren't great with signing things, but that doesnt make me like them less. sure, id love to get an auto from them, but they dont owe it to me... all they owe their fans is good music or hard work (in this case).

u start liking a celeb because of their work, not because of an autograph ( in most cases, im not gonna speak for everyone ) ... the auto is just added after ur a fan of that person... the good music is what they owe to you. they arent paid to sign auto's thats not their job, their job is to make music. auto's are an extra for us fans

auto's are a bonus when u like someone, 1st comes what that celeb actually does for a living...

& im a autograph collector, so im not bashing anyone... im just putting things in persepective.

yeah i agree with you but for someone not to answer anyone is kinda like "wow.... " to me..and yeah i start to like their music and stuff first then i think wow after like Carrie Underwood For about Three years it would be cool to have her autograph and yes i sent her twice and nothing but that doesnt mean that i wont like her anmore...i still love her...her style kicks butt and her voice KILLS...i mean she can SING! its just kinda dissappointing.....thats all..do u know where im comming from now?
