Hi,

I went to http://www.picsearch.com and I wanted to clarify a size and what is an 8x10 in pixels? Sorry if its a stupid question but I am only 9 years old. LOL :lol: .

I would say for a decent pic, an 8-10 would have to have at least 800

An 8x10 in pixels is a 576x720.

I think you are talking about DPI. :P

800 DPI is quite a high resolution - perfect for good prints. You might find it difficult to find pictures of such high resolution on the internet though, as the file size would be several megabytes.

Well, I dont really understand what your saying because I want to catch Alyson Michalka at a concert shes at in Georgia but I want to send her something to sign. So how many picels should I put on it to make 8 by 10? Any help, please!

Hey Dallas,

I think Joel gave a pretty specific response :D You should take his advice and see how things turn out!

But pixels aren't something you can "put on" a photo. They are only a measure of the size. What program do you use to resize/edit your photos?
