Just a Quick Question

Hi All, i sent my first 3 letters out today YAY, i took advice from somone on here sorry ive forgotton who it was but you know who you are LOL
basically the question was
if you put too many american stamps on the return envelope is it a bad thing?
i sent a 10x8 photo so the envelope is a little bigger then that i was told to put 5 stamps on i put 6
i dont know if i put too many LOL
