Is there any collectors in the UK who write to stars in the USA who could answer me a question.
Years ago when you wrote 2 people you would send a International Reply Coupon (IRC) to cover the postage for the Celebrity's Reply.
I got today that Royal Mail no longer sell IRC...How do you do it? If u write to some in the US what do you send the Celebrity for a Reply back
Thanks
(In 1995 my daughter who was 9 was diagnosed with Leukemia, she has been treated ever since by Great Ormand St Children's Hospital who have been fantastic to her and to us as a family - please can i ask that you click on http://www.gosh.org/gen/donate/ and Donate as much as you can to help them help sick children Thank You)
You can still buy IRCs over here, try a bigger post office rather than a local one, they should sell them. If not, try and get a few dollars and pop them in with your request. If you can't get either, you could just try sending GBP with an apology, but I'd say try and get dollars or an IRC first

Went 2 a Big Main Post Office as i did a Local One. I was told by the Main P.O they stopped selling IRC sometime back.

Your local post office may have stopped selling them, but the Royal Mail has not. Perhaps try enquiring with them about whether they can order some in.
Alternatively try the methods that the others suggested.

That used to me a mega problem until I started getting stamps on ebay; it works out cheaper and it's super-easy for the celeb to pop it into the letterbox (rather than going to a PO!)
