I;ve read that it's cheaper to buy US stamps than IRC so it's what I am planning to do.
I live in the UK and I would like to write to some US addresses.
How many stamps should I put for a cardboard enveloppe for a 8x10 picture?
Thanks

here is the website that will tell you how much postage is required.....you need to know how much your return piece weighs.

It depends on how much it weighs but I am guessing 3 ounces--I have got an 8X10 success in a cardboard envelope and they needed the 3 ounce price.
From the US to the UK with a large envelope that is 3 ounces is 2.92 in stamps. How many stamps depends on what kind of stamps you have.

Usually I use about 3 usa stamps living within the united states. It seems to get the job done.

yes -- those work (they are first class postage). you will need 7 of them for an item weighing up to 85g (3 oz.) to send internationally.

three of the 44 cent stamps. That should work within the United States. But if you are out of the USA probably 7- 8, 44 cent stamps
