First if all, I said this was my last resort. Second of all, I would never do that. I hope you were kidding.

I wouldn't even have asked if I didn;t want to be 100% sure that I was sending to the right person.

Please don't double post.

For the record, I would never write to someone's home address. I find it weird. Not because I'm picturing some deranged guy from Pennsylvania scaling a wall in Brentwood with a knife and some duct tape... which yes, was a joke... but because you don't know the person, so for professional correspondance, which this is, you should use their agent.
Favourite: David Tennant IP, John Barrowman IP, Patrick Stewart IP, Catherine Tate VV.
Newest: John Simm IP, Suranne Jones IP, Jonathan Groff IP.

If I used their agent, i would get a pre-print from SFM

I see nothing wrong with writing to someones home address, everyday in the mail people get things they didn't ask for or expect it's just how mail works,no big deal really. They can choose to throw it out with their junkmail.

I'd say go for it, if you'll get a preprint otherwise. But to be honest, if they're a big enough star that they have a SFM address, I doubt they'll reply at their home address.

Thanks for your reply!! But, i wouldnt say they're a huge star. I'm just worried about sending to the wrong person, again, their name is quite common. i found over 50 in CA. So if anyone can help again i'd appreciate it!
