Removing the word "email" from topic subjects...

This usually doesn't bother me, but every time I see someone put up a topic and put "email" on the subject, it seems to get flooded with people asking for the email. Take the latest Judi Dench success, for example. It's almost like the "collectors" post to ask for the email for free game. Seeing that it's a rule to not be able to post emails on here, people will still PM for the emails, which means it's pointless. It would be best if the word "email" was taken off as soon as it's put up by mods or TMs. Just my opinion...

Yes, I will no longer do this after I received loads of messages in my inbox and on my website after posting my Maria Sharapova success. I didn't bother responding to a single one, but it got incredibly annoying after a while. Actually, I'm removing it right now. Thanks!

COMPLETELY AGREE!!!! {up} To many members have been putting that in their topic posts lately and many of the comments are just asking for the address. {down} When I get successes via email, I don't mention it in my title.

This is the best idea I've heard! I hate that so many people are just spamming emails now.

Seriously...this needs to be enforced NOW. I'm sick of seeing the email posts from people with 30 post or under asking for the email from the OP. It sickens me just looking through feedback nowadays.

Totally pointless though, as without the details of where it was from, users will know anyway. While more likely peeps will want an email address, it is clear that if they want an address that isn't posted they will badger the OP for it anyway. If they keep it up then ban them, there's enough effort going into banning certain former members anyway, that it should hardly be an issue. Either that or simply ignore them.

This forum is meant to be about collecting, yet so many posts are now just "I got this" with a pic, if you want to showcase an autograph without sharing, then use your own website. There is no hope of building an accurate database of good addresses without sharing where they come from.

If people PM you asking, delete it, its not like it takes a minute, even if there are 30.
